Gibraltar Hub Service Privacy Policy
We understand that your session data passing through the Gibraltar Hub Service may
contain sensitive information and we will treat your data with proper care.
If you subscribe to the Gibraltar Hub Service, the session data recorded by Gibraltar
Agent will be sent to us securely and stored temporarily on our server before being
securely forwarded to the subscribed Gibraltar Analyst programs associated with
your Gibraltar Hub Service account.
What information is collected?
The information collected by Gibraltar is dependent on the way you configure and
use Gibraltar Agent. This will include trace messages recorded by your program along
with additional information about the executing process and the computer hosting
your application such as the computer name and username associated with the process.
You should be sure that any information you log through Gibraltar is in compliance
your own corporate privacy policy. Often this includes coding guidelines to not
log sensitive data such as email addresses and other personally identifiable information.
The Gibraltar Agent collects detailed information only about your application and
summary information about the computer that it is running on. No information about
other applications running or installed is collected. With regard to the data Gibraltar
logs automatically, you can enable anonymous mode to prevent Gibraltar from collecting personally
identifiable information.
Who can access the data?
The purpose of Gibraltar Hub is to get session data from your users to your team.
The Hub passes data collected by Gibraltar Agents integrated with your applications
to the subscribed Gibraltar Analyst programs associated with your account. The subscription
between Gibraltar Hub and Gibraltar Analyst is based on secure authentication including
using a password you specify.
Note that if you configure your Gibraltar Hub account to enable add-ins such as
our integration with FogBugz or
Gemini, Gibraltar Hub will transmit
certain information to external systems that may be governed by other privacy policies.
The data collected by Gibraltar Agent and stored on Gibraltar Hub is not accessed
by the Gibraltar development team or its affiliated employees nor is data associated
with your account accessible to other customers using the Gibraltar Hub with other
accounts.
Disclosure as required by law
Information that is collected by or sent to Gibraltar Software may be stored and
processed in the United States or any other country in which eSymmetrix, Inc. or
its affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents maintain facilities. Esymmetrix may
disclose this information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief
that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply
with legal process served on eSymmetrix or the site; (b) protect and defend the
rights or property of eSymmetrix and its family of websites, or (c) act in urgent
circumstances to protect the personal safety of eSymmetrix employees, users of eSymmetrix
software or services, or members of the public.
