SQL Reference - System Variables
Variable Name Description
@@IDENTITY Valid after Inserts Only
@@VERSION Returns the current version of the engine (does not require a database connection in order to execute)
@@TRANCOUNT Returns the number of currently open transactions.

System Variables Example
